Clifford Wolf, retired mathematics professor and father of Michael, poses with his newly betrothed harem, the entire nursing station of the Kaiser Permanente Hospital. They met during Wolf's recent hospital stay, and decided to marry as soon as he converted and became a Mormon.

New Irish Scholarship! €10,000 "Stepping Stones" Scholarship available for non-European students pursuing their Master's degree at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, Ireland
Double bass students pursuing their Master's degree under Prof. Michael Wolf at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, Ireland, are now eligible for a 10,000 Euro (14,000 US dollars) scholarship. A new scholarship fund, the "Stepping Stones Scholarships", target international post-graduate students with a demonstrable record in a performance and/or academic specialization relevant to a programme of study at the Academy.
- applicants from parts of the world underrepresented at the Academy
- applicants with projects that resonate with the spirit of the Stepping Stones initiative: equality of arts practices, an interdisciplinary vision, and desire to build bridges between arts practices
- applicants for programmes with a higher number of available places
